What should I bring to class?

It is strongly recommended that you purchase a copy of the workbook through SchoolCash Online so that you can write in the book. Alternatively, you can borrow a copy to use during school hours, but you would not be allowed to write in the book or take it home.

What if I miss a class?

Please take responsibility for your learning. Check the course website to see what you’ve missed, ask a friend for help, and come talk to me when you get back. Try to catch up on any missed notes or assignments in a timely manner.

If you miss a test, you must make an appointment to write it during PLT as soon as possible.

What are the Big Ideas?

🧠 Algebra allows us to generalize relationships through abstract thinking.
✖️ The meanings of, and connections between, each operation extend to powers and polynomials.
📈 Constant rate of change is an essential attribute of linear relationships and has meaning in different representations and contexts.
📐 Trigonometry involves using proportional reasoning to solve indirect measurement problems.
Representing and analyzing situations allows us to notice and wonder about relationships.
