Physics 12 is a continuation of Physics 11 that delves deeper into the study of classical mechanics and electromagnetism. The focus will be on applying physical principles and mathematical reasoning to solve problems.
We will be using Moodle (moodle.sd38.bc.ca) to do quizzes, submit assignments, and record grades. Please note the following log-in information for your Moodle account:
Please ask me as soon as possible if you need help accessing Moodle.

Attend class and keep up with the homework.Β This is a fast-paced course with a lot of content. It will be very difficult to catch up once you fall behind. You should do homework or review lessons daily and catch up as soon as possible if you miss a class.
Focus on conceptual understanding. Build mental models and explain your steps using physics or math concepts. Avoid memorizing the steps to solve specific problems, as that will not help you solve the variations of problems you will encounter on the tests.
Practice problem solving.Β Most of your time studying should be spent on solving problems, not rereading the textbook, taking notes, or highlighting.
